About Sangam CT
Sangam of CT – We are an Indian Cultural Association serving South Eastern CT indian community.
Sangam culminated from the effort of a few volunteers with a vision to bring the Indian community together to preserve and celebrate the culture, traditions and have a sense of community belonging.
Sangam is a cultural organization striving to foster “Unity in Diversity”. Sangam means “coming together”, “flowing together”, living in unity. Sangam encourages participation from one and all and provides a common platform for everyone to engage in social and cultural activities. Sangam organizes cultural events throughout the year and a sumer picnic. The organization relies on its volunteers’ support to fulfill and celebrate the various facets of Indian culture.

Our Story
Founded with the idea of creating a "Sangam" – a confluence of cultures – Sangam CT has grown into a dynamic hub for the Indian American community in Connecticut. Our name, "Sangam," signifies the meeting of two cultures: one rooted in the traditions of India, and the other in the diverse, inclusive spirit of the United States. Over the years, we’ve proudly built a platform where people of all backgrounds come together to share, learn, and celebrate.
